DualFlex Clamps
Compact dual-action CNC workholding clamps
The Firmworx DualFlex Clamp is a compact, low-profile workholding clamp designed to hold two components from a single central screw.
Using a wedge-style expanding action, the clamp applies force outwards to both sides at once, making it ideal for multi-part machining, fixture plates, pallet systems, tombstones, and production setups where space and access matter.
DualFlex Clamps are designed for machinists who want strong, repeatable clamping without bulky vices, strap clamps, or over-complicated fixture designs.
Each clamp measures 20mm wide x 36mm long and uses standard M6 x 20mm cap head hardware, making it compact, simple, and easy to integrate into custom fixtures.
One screw. Two parts. Maximum access.
DualFlex Clamps are ideal for increasing the number of parts you can hold in a single setup.
The central screw drives the clamp body outwards, applying clamping force to both sides simultaneously. This allows two parts to be held securely while keeping the top face of the component clear for machining.
Because the clamp is only 20mm wide and 36mm long, it can be used in tight fixture layouts where larger clamps, vices, or strap clamps would take up too much space.
This makes the DualFlex Clamp especially useful for:
- CNC milling fixture plates
- Multi-part production setups
- Palletised machining
- Tombstone workholding
- OP1 raw billet clamping
- OP2 soft jaw fixtures
- Repeat customer jobs
- Compact machine bed layouts
- Small-part batch production
- High-density machining fixtures
Compact mounting design
DualFlex Clamps are designed to sit inside a 30mm wide mounting pocket, allowing them to be neatly integrated into fixture plates, pallets, soft jaws, or dedicated workholding blocks.
The mounting pocket keeps the clamp controlled and supported, while the low-profile clamping geometry helps maintain tool access around the component.
The clamping depth ranges from 7mm down to 3mm, giving the clamp a useful working range for low-profile material, small components, and fixture applications where the workholding needs to stay compact and clear of the machining area.
The use of standard M6 x 20mm cap head hardware means the clamp is easy to service and maintain. No specialist screw is required, making replacements simple in a normal workshop environment.

Available Versions
Mild Steel Soft Jaw DualFlex Clamps
The mild steel soft jaw version is supplied for users who want to machine the clamp faces to suit their own components.
These are ideal for custom workholding where the clamp face needs to match the shape of the part.
The mild steel body allows the user to machine their own contact geometry directly into the clamp. This could include pockets, steps, radii, profiles, forms, location faces, or dedicated contact areas.
Use them for:
- Machined profiles
- Component-specific pockets
- Delicate parts
- OP2 location and clamping
- Repeat production fixtures
- Reduced marking applications
- Custom fixture plates
- Parts with unusual shapes or features
The soft jaw version gives you the flexibility to create part-specific clamping that improves support, repeatability, and surface protection.
